Sand Clay
1 cup colored sand
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp. alum
1/2 cup water
Directions:
Pour the sand into a cooking pot.
Add cornstarch, water and alum. Stir.
Set on the stove over medium heat and stir.
As it stiffens and clumps, remove from the
heat and keep stirring for a few more seconds as it cools down.
Allow it to cool, let kids mold it, cut it, make impressions on it, or
sculpt it, creations can be left to dry over night.
